Gallery Mars & Venus
Often, before a performance of The Loves of Mars & Venus, the Weaver Band present a prologue of music from 1660, when Charles II came to the throne, to 1717, the year of the first performance of The Loves. Here is a piece from The Division Flute, published in 1706, performed at the Notting Hill concert.
